This year a number of our teams participated in the Akron Tournament held May 3-4.  Here are some of the highlites:

• GU13 (Pollock) - GU13 Champions - Undefeated 4-0. Defeating the HotSpurs of Penn 2-1 in the championship.  Second year in a row winning the highest division.
• BU14 (Pasono) - BU15 Finalist - The team played up an age group.  Lost 3-1 in the finals to a very good North Town team.  A very good weekend for the BU14 team.
• GU15 (Penders) - GU16 Champions - The second year in a row winning a championship.  This year the team played up an age group.  Defeated (2-1) the very tough TriTown Tigers in the final after being down 1-0 at the half.
• GU10 (Takatch) - Undefeated - Records are not kept in this age group but the girls went 3-0.
• BU13 (Klimuszka) - BU13 Champions - The boys won three straight games to get them into the championship game. They played tough and came away with a 1-0 win against the Greece Eclipse BU13 team.

Cobras Summer Camp


Want to learn from CURRENT PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS??? Come join Scott Vallow and Matthew Delicate of the Rochester Rhinos and Jason Perry, the Executive Director of Flower City Soccer, for this 3-day Summer Camp exclusive to the Cobras Soccer Club.

Who: Any young soccer player of the Cobras looking to strengthen his/her technique (ages 7-15, boys and girls, all positions).

What: This is another exclusive opportunity for the Cobras Soccer Club.  Come join the Professionals this summer for a 3-day "Train like a Champion" Soccer Skills Camp. This program will give players the professional environment where they can continue to develop their skills, be challenged and have fun.  This program is designed and conducted by Scott Vallow and Matt Delicâte of the Rochester Rhinos and Jason Perry, the Executive Director of Flower City Soccer with special guest appearances from other Current Rhino Players. 

This program will cover: passing/receiving, dribbling, shooting, heading and goalkeeping (for those interested), as well as speed/agility sessions, tactical skills and competitive games. 

Players will be divided each day into groups with those of the same age and ability level.

Lunch will be provided each day at no additional charge for those that register for both sessions, and there will be a free pizza lunch the final day for everybody, provided by Salvatore's Pizza, so bring the entire team!

Dates, Times and Location: June 30, July 1 & 2 at Total Sports Experience (TSE)

• Morning Session: 9:00-11:30am—session conducted by Jason Perry and staff - Register
  

• Afternoon Session: 12:30-3:00pm—session conducted by Scott Vallow and Matt Delicâte - Register
  

• BOTH Sessions (best value!) - Register
  

Cost: Only $55 per participant for either the morning OR the afternoon session ($7.33 per hour!) and only $80 for both the morning AND the afternoon sessions ($5.33 per hour, plus free lunch!). Spots are limited, and all participants will receive a camp T-shirt ($20 value).
